Questrecques is a small, predominately agricultural village near the North-coast resorts of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage and Boulogne-sur-Mer. The project involves a careful restoration of an existing historic stable building and a dovecote, converting both into a private house. As a necessary ecological and planning condition, the existing dove colony is retained within the resulting project. The project adheres to the strict local rules pertaining to the architectural design of the project, its materials, and its colours and textures, while providing a modern and flexible new second home for its owner.
