This project comprises a large two storey extension to an existing mid-twentieth century detached house on the outskirts of a town in East Devon in South West England.

The design of the extension retains the roof line and pitch of the existing building and includes a large open plan living space and south facing balcony at first floor level as well as comprehensive re-modelling of the existing accommodation.

Although contemporary in appearance, the design includes a palette of materials that are sympathetic to the locality, and was granted planning consent in August 2024. Construction works are anticipated to commence early in 2025.
